A Boardmail is a message sent by users of the system to each other, It can only be sent and checked on the system itself. The main Boardmail page contains a listing of all the Boardmails you have received. It shows the subject of the message, who sent it, when it was sent, and whether or not you have read it. There is also a trash can provided for deletion. To read a boardmail, click on the subject of the message. From the View Message page, you can delete the message, reply to it, or just go back to your inbox.

To send a Boardmail, click the "Send Boardmail" link in the upper-right corner of the main Boardmail page. Fill in the username of the user you wish to send a Boardmail to, and supply a subject and a body to your message. Then click the send button. Similar to messages on boards, you can format your Boardmails with the formatting tags provided by the system. For a list of these special tags, click on the "markup tags" link on the composition page. To view a list of all the boardmails you have sent to other users, click on the "Outbox" link from the main Boardmail page.
